Crokinole is an excellent family and bar game for 2,3 or 4 players. A mix of pool, curling, and twiddly winks. It’s accessible, the rules can be explained in under a minute, yet it has a depth that rewards both strategy and skill.
Most impressively it is very competitive, a losing player often has an advantage, so the real challenge is not taking the lead, but maintaining it.
